Finally some summer weather! I was starting to think that we’d skip it and go straight to fall!
You have no idea how badly I needed to take a break in nature.

“Live in the sunshine, swim in the sea, drink the wild air”. – Ralph Waldo Emerson
I always feel 1000x better if I’m outdoors in God’s beautiful creations. It gives me a chance to see things from a different viewpoint and to breathe. I’m a bit of a stress case, I must admit. I tend to over think everything – worst case scenario, the works. Most likely the reason I don’t sleep at night.
Regardless, I find that as soon as I take a step back and take a walk in to nature, I can relax. It’s so calming just breathing clean air and listening to birds sing or a waterfall rushing down. Nothing beats its. I can feel at peace in my soul. It’s a rare occurrence and I truly treasure it. If you are like me, and you just don’t know how to relax, you’ll understand the feeling of peace you can feel doing something you love.
Even through the rain, you can find so much beauty. FYI I love rain! But too much of a good thing isn’t that great, right? On a short break of weather, a few of us visited the twin falls. Gorgeous hike, not too hard. If you don’t mind traversing around some narrow cliffs, that is. Yikes! Well worth the epic views! Definitely takes your breath away. (Also reminds me of Jurassic park lol)

Lots of other short adventures have commenced since. A lot of fishing and going for drives… nice changes of scenery. I like to switch it up once and a while to keep things interesting, I have a short attention span. For instance, I have rewritten this post 5 times. Should have posted it a month ago, but no one reads this anyways hahaha!
off to bed for me, with the rain coming down It makes for a cozy sleep.
xoxo. Court
